National information and communication technology Australia  Ltd announced they had developed a giga bit data rates transceiver-receiver integrated on a single chip using CMOS technology.  This chip is 5mm per side and it can operate at a frequency of 60GHz while wifi chip can operate only at 2.4GHz. This have low power conception of 2 watt comes and comes with 1mm antenna.

This is a good news for personal area networking cos there is no internet infrastructure available to cop it with. It can have a span of 10 meters. The usable prototype may be less than a year away. With the help of gifi chips the videos sharing can be possible without any hurdles.

Day before yesterday Australian opening batsman Mathew hayden called indian spinner Harbhajan singh “obnoxious little weed”.What he meant was Harbhajan singh is no use guy for cricket. He commented it in an interview for Brisbane radio. Today the news says that Mathew hayden got charged under Rule 9 of CA’s Code of Behavior after 2 hour hearing, the rule says no cricketer comment publicly anything that create or tends to create issues. Hayden got disappointed at having been charged, meanwhile he says he accepts the decision and as he respect spirit of cricket.

Last month it was Harbhajan singh who called Andrew symonds something in his regional language after that he got fined and he says the same thing what Hayden had said.

Are these dramas created by celebrities to gain public and media attentions ?

Economics the social science which deals how can we manage the available resource effectively. The resource may be either human resource, machineries, food etc. People say india a growing economy, has anyone think what is the baseline to say indian economy is growing ? I didn’t know why. This is the main reason behind me to study the economics. From my research about the baseline to say indian economy is growing i got a terminology called GDP (gross domestic product). I will discuss more about GDP in next chapter. There is a pre-condition to understand what is economics ?, is the term scarcity.

Scarcity is an economical problem occur when peoples want is unlimited but resource is limited to fulfill all his / her needs. For an individual resource include time, money, skill etc. For a country resource include capital, technology, labor etc. So this is why i mentioned above that economics is the study to how to manage and allocate resource effectively. There are 2 branches in economics 1) Micro economics 2) Macro economics

Micro economics deals with the way how the individual and firms respond to a price changes and the way in which how they deal price change to cop them self. Meanwhile macro economics define the way in how nation can allocate limited resource to attain maximum production and thereby promote trade and growth of nation.

Design patterns are reusable component for general problems during the development life cycle. Suppose a service company like infosys they are developing applications generally for their clients. Each and every application have some part in common. So we can consider those part as a reusable component. The reusable components have some specific part in common gathering those specific part and define it as a pattern so that the same pattern can be applied for other projects.

For eg: Most of the common web applications need have the functionality of file uploading from a client system. We can consider the uploading components as a design pattern.

Above diagram shows file uploading design pattern.

PHP5 is strongly object oriented programming language. Almost all the web application need the functionality. The above class diagram can be implemented in php5.

VoiceXML is a technology used to recognize speech patterns in web oriented content delivery IVR applications. For example if a site xyz.com, a site that provide all kind of information about a state. We can create a application so that when a user call to a number lets say 1234, call will be landed to the site xyz.com. Since xyz.com provide contents of a particular state you can ask temperature of the particular state by saying a keyword “temperature”. The user get temperature of the particular state as response.

We can build IVR using asterisk IVR framework with-in 5 minutes. What if we can integrate the voice pattern for IVR flow, its cool idea ? A lot of software are there but almost all are very costly and not much simple. Here is a solution for this, The SpeakRight Framework.

SpeakRight Framework is an open source java framework. We can develop speech recognition applications. Using this framework we can build voice based IVR application in asterisk IVR framework. We can use both the SpeakRight framework and phpagi to build voice based IVR with asterisk. The framework use code based approaches. Let me explain what is code based approach with an example. A lot of IVR application are UI based applications so that a normal user can define the IVR logic by simply drag dropping components. But when the IVR logic become complicated its very hard to understand if we develop using visual programming languages. But we can simply develop any complicated IVR using dailplan. The dialplan use code based approach since we do code the IVR logic using simple functions. Like wise SpeakRight  are also using same logic for recognizing speech patterns.

I was into a discussion with my colleague what succeeds finally whether branding or money making. He is very much talkative and his opinion is branding succeeds, but i am against it. I am doing business mainly because i need money. Finally i decided to do some investigation about it. Let me try what online people say about it. I used google trends for data collection what people searches. The result was very much interesting.

This is what i got from google trends. So in the late 2004 people use to give more importance for branding, but the trend is changing, the money making and branding have same importance now ?. This is a general trend okay.

Lets differentiate the searches accordingly upon people from developed countries and developing countries. For example india a developing country and UK, US developed ones.

What i got from the data is developing countries give more importance for branding than developed countries. So is there any sense in giving more importance for branding in startup companies ?. This is a question, i am not able to answer cos only pioneers can give the answer.

XFN is another web3.0 concept used to define human relationship in the hyperlinks. When ever we had a blog in our blogroll add the relation of the author and the author of the other blogger using the ‘rel’ attribute in the hyperlink. Microsoft merger with yahoo to compete with google is not happening. Microsoft valued yahoo for $50 billion but yahoo is not interested to join with microsoft for $5o billion. If the merger happened then it is a great threat to google. The online advertising booming is really big. The market share for google is very much higher. Microsoft really need a partner like yahoo to compete at-least. Might be the google is lucky.

Check out the chart and compare the ad revenue made by google it is very far from that of microsoft. Anyways i think the ball is still in google’s court.
