Most of the people use an android tablet these days. Archos has recently launched ‘ChefPad’, a tablet for chefs and cooking enthusiasts. This tablet features a 9.7-inch touchscreen(1024×768 pixels). ChefPad runs Android 4.1 and it includes a 1.6GHz dual-core CPU. This tablet gives 8GB internal storage. There’s a MicroSD slot for extra storage as well. It comes with two megapixel front- and rear-facing cameras too.It has a Mini HDMI port and WiFi connectivity as well. This tablet comes with a sleek, red silicone case, along with a matching stand.

This tablet has a silicone case which protects it from water  spills and food. You don’t have to worry about veggie stains, scrambled eggs or masala falling on your tablet and affecting it’s operation. It’s just perfect for the kitchen environment. You can even adjust the stand for getting the best viewing angle when you are cooking. This tablet will act like a  classic cookbook, when you are cooking.

You can make use of this tablet to get access to a  wide variety of cooking apps available on Google Play. Apart from that Archos has even included a “Chef’s Apps” selection to give you access to a curated list of apps from categories including recipes, drinks, shopping, cooking TV and more. It filters through all the top options available from Google Play and delivers them in one spot.

“The ChefPad is the first ARCHOS tablet to use this filtering technology,” Loïc Poirier, CEO of ARCHOS said. “This is just the beginning for ARCHOS tablets using this technology; we will continue to launch new and exciting themed tablets that curate apps in such categories as kids apps, games, educational apps, business/productivity apps and more.”

This tablet comes with a pair of speakers and a built-in mic, allowing  the device to play cooking lessons and even for recording your own cooking experience. It will act like a cooking assistant while you are cooking.  You will just start loving cooking even more with this smart tablet in your kitchen.

If you are fond of cooking then it’s a definitely a must have device for you. You will be able to explore and learn more about cooking using it. The price of this tablet is also not too high. Archos says the ChefPad will be available starting in June for $209.99 (£137.50) from its online store.You need to wait for just a month to receive this gadget that transforms your cooking experience.
