facebook file sharingEver since its start, facebook have always come up with new stuffs and improvements. Few of the improvements they did in the past, made us all enjoy it even more. But few they did, pissed us and many alike. Now here is an all new roll out from facebook, the file sharing feature. Something any user can enjoy (you need to be a member of any group in facebook Groups), specially the ones that are active by gaming clans, tagged teams etc. Over 380 million facebook users are using the Groups feature and the file sharing was one among the most common requested options and now that it is fully live.

So this is what the new feature is like. Facebook made possible a file sharing option bundled with its Groups. One could make a variety of file uploads to a maximum size of 25 MB. But there is a block to upload audio files and executable files. When they rolled this feature out, few of the users were not able to find this option with their existing groups. That time it was live only with newly created groups. As of now, the file sharing feature is fully live to all; with the existing and newly created groups.

Navigate to any group you are a member of and by the right end of the status bar, just next to Ask Question option, you can find the new file sharing option Upload File. Click on it to extend the status bar and you can see the Choose File option. Select that to have the file uploaded from your computer. Once you have the file uploaded, the members to the group are provided with two options in the post that appears by the timeline. Options are either download the file or post a revision. So if you not still known about the new facebook file sharing option or not tried it yet, do it today and write to us how you feel.
