Facebook Home has attained worldwide attention right from the beginning of April. This app is mainly available for HTC and Samsung phones powered by the latest versions of Android. Facebook Home allow users to start with Facebook on the homescreen,  navigate and switch back and forth between apps,  send and receive messages through “chat heads” overlaid on the screen. People from all across the globe have switched this makeover for their phones.

Reportedly there are rumors heard here and there about the spreading of Home to  Apple’s popular iPhones. It’s absolutely true, iPhone users are soon getting that chance.

Facebook’s chief technology officer, Mike Schroepfer, said during an on-stage chat at the All Things D conference devoted to mobile technology. “We are working closely with Apple; with Microsoft, with everyone to try to get as good a Facebook people-first experience you can across all devices.”

Adam Mosseri, Facebook’s director of product, has also told Bloomberg that Facebook  is engaged in an “ongoing conversation” with both Apple and Microsoft about bringing Home to each respective company’s mobile devices. but nothing is been  finalized  about the Home experience on the iPhone.

It may or may not be Home,” said Mosseri. “We could also just bring some of the design values to the iOS app. That might be how it ends up. Or we could build just the lock screen. Maybe then it’s not called Home, it’s called something else.”

It’s been said that the first Home feature that will come for iPhones  are “chat heads” that let message exchanges with friends,  follow people when they navigate through the social network.

However many still doubt that Apple would bend its strict rules to allow any other company to influence the user interface of iOS. At the launch of Facebook home, Mark Zuckerberg said “We’d love to offer this on iPhone, and we just can’t today, and we will work with Apple to do the best experience that we can within what they want,”

You will have to wait a little longer till Apple  make their  final decision. If you are a facebook addict then you will definitely love this change on your iPhone.
