Yet another gmail chat bug

Its seems a lot of bugs are happening with gmail these days. Just look at this bug. I restarted the browser and its works fine. Why this kind of bugs happening with gmail? I guess its javascript loading issues. But for a normal user why care about javascript or other problems?
