Ascend G510 is the latest budget friendly smartphone from Huawei. This 4.5-inch Android Jelly Bean device is currently available from Vodafone U.K. It comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and if you are looking for an affordable smartphone then it’s definitely the best choice for you.

“Huawei is bringing new hardware and software innovation to this market; and not just to the high-end,” said James Powell, Huawei Device UK Director of Product Management. This phone comes with the latest smartphone technology and solves all the weak points which an entry level smartphone used to have before like screen size or battery life.

The 4.5-inch TFT LCD display, offers a  screen resolution of 480 x 854p. It offers a 1750mAh battery that promises 320 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours of talk time. The battery is  9.9mm thick and weighs just 150 grams. The 5-megapixel rear camera has an LED flash, there is also a 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper. The front camera can  be used for  unlocking the handset with facial recognition.

 It also comes with 512MB of RAM and 1GB of internal storage which you can expand with the help of by microSD cards and holds upto 32GB. This smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean OS. It is also powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225.  DTS Audio, 5 seconds high speed boot, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA 3G, Bluetooth are few other features available for this phone.

Huawei Ascend G510 is the first  Chinese manufacturer’s handsets to launch in the UK with its Emotion UI.  Vodafone customers in U.K  will have access to Huawei Ascend G510 from  April 12th.
